Interdictor class Star Destroyer

The Immobilizer 418 cruiser, also known as the Interdictor-class heavy cruiser was small Star Destroyer in the Imperial Fleet. The main purpose of this ship was to create mass shadows with it's four gravity well projectors to prevent enemy ships from escaping to hyperspace.

I finally finished my build up of the .JPG 1/4222 Interdictor class Star Destroyer, mastered by Nicholas Sagan.  This is a really great kit, and comes with lots of extra parts to build an Enforcer class, Vindicator class or to kitbash your own small class SD.

What you Get:
I decided to sand off the detail for the bridge windows and replace it with some photo etch:

The kit comes with lots of thin wire to add the antenna array:
There are a few minor fit gaps, but nothing a little bit of sanding an putty can't fix:

Reactor plate with lots of detail:
 Main Hanger bay:
Finished pics.  I put down a base coat of Tamiya Insignia white, masked a few panels off and then added a top coat of Tamiya Flat White.  The effect is subtle, but I like it.

Close up on the Gravity well projectors:
