Naboo Starfighter

While I think that is safe to say that Prequel trilogy was hit and miss story wise, the one thing that it did deliver on was new ship designs.  One of my favorites is the Naboo N-1 starfighter. A sleek, glossy fighter with smooth curves and bright paint scheme.

This kit is built from the 1/72 scale FineMolds kit. It was a quick and easy build and a lot of fun. I have learned two important things from this build. 1. Always put a coat of black on anything you plan to paint metallic. 2. Metallic paint WILL show every single imperfection and ding. Oh well, good things to remember for when I finally get around to my Firefly build.

Finished, I used a FM X-Wing stand instead of the kit stand to save some space on my shelf:

  1. Looks good. Amazing what you can do without children at home.
