TIE Defender Finshed

Finished work on the 1/72 scale TIE Defender, and finally got a change to use my new airbrush. After some trial and error, I finally got a look that I was happy with.

To build my stand, I modified a FineMolds 1/72 scale X-Wing stand to support the TIE Defender's off balance cockpit ball.

A shot of the pilot in the hollowed out cockpit before sealing it up with the canopy frame.

And after paint, washing and weathering, the final product:

My growing 1/72 scale TIE squadron. The X1(Vader's TIE) and the Interceptor are the Revell Pocket kits, and are just a bit smaller than 1/72 scale but, they will do until I can pick up the kits that do fit.
