And.... I'm back. It was a busy end of the year, but now that things have settled a bit I am hitting the bench and working when I can. The latest addition to my 1/72 scale Star Wars fleet is the Imperial Royal Guard TIE Interceptor. It started as an elite ship introduced in the Rage of the Wookiees expansion pack for the online game Star Wars: Galaxies. Later the expanded universe cannon listed the back story for the ship. This fighter was commissioned by the Emperor for exclusive use by his Royal Guard. These new Interceptors were fast, heavily armed and unlike the most TIE fighters came equipped with Shields and a hyperdrive.

This model was built from the 1/72 scale FineMolds TIE Interceptor kit. The added solar panels were mastered by JBOT.
